![]() The only difference between these STs and my original one that became a UT was that the new ones were in regular Caimans as opposed to Super Freighters. He would sometimes work, but I'd often look at the stations in that sector and see a full SPP and a bunch of Ecell-starved stations. I put an ST in that region and he kept going standby for lengths of time. I think there is no real need for UT anymore. Place a ST in Glyptal too, atm the other earned 800k Cr and is currently at rank 10. Since he's running the Statistic Centre says that he earned three million Credits. From west to east Heliopsarius Omega to Painful Conversion and from north to south Holy Pathaway to Primeval Seas. ![]() He is supplying everything around Heliopsarius Delta. After becoming Rank 8 he got the possibility to jump across two sectors. I started the ST in different sectors around Heliopsarius Delta. So the budding ST doesn't have the same opportunities. I think the UT corrected whatever inefficiency was present in the sector/surrounding sectors and is probably still doing a bit of it as a UT. I put the new ST in the sector the UT trained up in, and he's still dragging. If the sector is low on trade oppurtunities, it will take it´s time until they level up. How quickly Traders rank up is determined by Profit. You could do with power plants in some of the boron sectors which are missing them, and while it may be different for you, my glutinous Terrans seem to have 4 sectors with 4 of each of the food fabs in them, causing a catestrophic surplus and an ecell shortage maybe you can use that to your advantage? ![]() Because of this I find split sectors quite unprofitable compared to Argon and teladi sectors. Also anything that has large numbers of items (such as ECells) also ends up suffering as your traders take ages to make each trip. I can't remember what you needed for them to auto upgrade cargo capacity up to 80%, and I think boost extension did something.Īs for stations: look for gaps in the market, but be warned that the split sectors are quite large, so anything that needs larger cargo and therefore a slower ship: beware. The fight command softwares allow the UT to keep a stock of fighter drones (doesn't apply to ST), having a jumpdrive (and nav soft of course) is needed to jump away in an emergency. ![]() I'm sure there is no requirement for anything except trade softwares for sector trading, but I am also sure you need at least 25MJ of shield for universe trading. For X3TC (and therefore XTC) I'm sure ST/LT/UT was made a built in part of the game. ![]()
